HIGHLIGHTS FROM PARIS FASHION WEEK 2017

As a major fashion lover, I couldn’t miss out on the opportunity to go to Paris Fashion Week! I got to see quite a few different designers’ shows and interviewed some stylists, photographers, bloggers, and entrepreneurs from around the globe. It was such a great experience to be surrounded by fashion and people who love it, live it, and breathe it.

Here are some of my favorite looks from PFW, which was showcasing new Spring 2018 collections:

This navy teal dress from Givenchy is stunningly simple yet chic, with its clean lines and mesh neckline, topped with an adorable bow on the collar.

Chanel showed us that clear plastic clothing is back- well, at least accessories are! From the boots to the hat, she’s got this style covered, pairing it with a soft vinyl skirt that completes the look.

A beautiful red coat by Valentino had an abundance of fabric that overlapped and felt very luxe. The angles of this outfit also grabbed my attention – a mix of the asymmetrical lapel with the rounded collar gave this pieces such character!

A sleek city look from Celine, with a leather trench coat that can be worn over your outfit or by itself. Topped off with matching tan purse and shoes.

This Louis Vuitton look has a Victorian feel with a demure, airy blouse, and textured long vest. I love how they pair modern items like the shoes and purse with the loftiness of the high collar and voluminous shirt and trousers.

I loved this shimmery evening gown from John Galliano. The deep neckline moves your eyes to the tapered waist and then the billowy silhouette. Also it isn’t floor length, which means you can show off your footwear.

Those are my favorites from the Paris Fashion Week Shows. We saw some amazing new collections ready to hit the racks in Spring 2018! Which one was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
